In an unprecedented milestone for Peruvian trade policy, Peru was elected to chair the Committee on Trade and Investment (CTI) of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum for the 2026–2027 term, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) announced on Tuesday.
